What we do
From the weekly clean to the big remodel decisions, we handle it with our own crew — no subcontractors, no runaround.
Skim, brush, vacuum, empty baskets, and balance the chemistry. Same tech, same day each week — with a photo report after every visit.
Pumps, filters, heaters, salt cells, and timers. Honest diagnoses, written estimates up front, and most fixes done within 24 hours.
Algae bloom or post-vacation swamp? We'll have it swimmable again in a few days — usually without draining a single gallon.
Calcium lines and stained plaster don't stand a chance. Gentle bead-blasting and acid washes that make a tired pool look new again.
Buying a home with a pool? Get a full equipment, surface, and leak check — and a repair cost estimate — before you sign anything.
Variable-speed pumps, LED lighting, and smart controls that trim your energy bill and let you heat the spa from your phone.

Our story
Sunset Pools started in 2009with one truck, a box of tools, and Marcus Reyes’s stubborn belief that pool care should feel like a handshake, not a subscription.
Seventeen years later, we’re still family-run. Elena manages the office and answers every call herself, and our son Danny leads the service routes across the Valley. We stayed small on purpose: you get the same certified tech at your gate each week — someone who knows your pool’s quirks, your gate code, and probably your dog’s name.
That’s why most of our new customers come from a neighbor’s recommendation, and why some of our very first customers are still on the route today.
How it works
We come out, test your water, look over the equipment, and answer your questions on the spot. No pressure, no obligation.
One rate with chemicals included. No surprise fees, no long contracts — stay because the pool looks great, not because paperwork says so.
Your tech comes the same day every week, and a photo report lands in your texts before we've left the driveway.

Neighbors talking
A 4.9-star average across 300+ reviews — most of them mentioning their tech by name. That's the part we love.
“We tried two other companies before Sunset. Danny has been our tech for three years now — same day every week, and the water has never once been cloudy. Worth every penny.”

“Our pump died on a Friday afternoon in July. Marcus had a new variable-speed pump installed by Saturday morning, and it cut our summer power bill almost in half.”

“Came home from two weeks away to a green mess — four days before my daughter's birthday party. They had it sparkling without draining a drop. Absolute lifesavers.”

Good to know
Nope. Most of our customers just share a gate code. Your tech texts a photo report after every visit, so you can see the work was done even from the office — or from vacation.
Every visit we skim the surface, brush walls and steps, vacuum as needed, empty the skimmer and pump baskets, test and balance the water, and give the equipment a quick once-over. If something looks off, you hear about it the same day.
Yes — chlorine, acid, and standard balancers are all part of your flat rate. The only extras you'd ever see are specialty items like a full salt replenishment or a phosphate treatment, and we always ask first.
All day long — more than a third of the pools on our routes are salt systems. We inspect and clean salt cells as part of the Complete Care plan, and can replace them when they age out.
After a big storm we get to as many pools as we can, as fast as we can. Complete Care customers get a return visit at no charge; Essential customers can add a storm cleanup visit for a flat fee.
You get a written estimate before we touch anything, and the price you approve is the price you pay. Parts and labor carry a 1-year warranty, and plan customers get 10% off.
Yes. Service is month to month — we just ask for 30 days' notice so we can rebalance the route. No cancellation fees, ever.
